Come learn about the latest research from SFPRG, with a focus on questionnaires we have developed that can be used in your own practice in our second installment of our "Lunchtime Series"

 

This class will feature the latest research from SFPRG, with a focus on questionnaires we have developed that can be used in your own practice.  These questionnaires include The Pathogenic Beliefs Scale, the Patient Experience of Attunement and Responsiveness, and the Problematic Impressions of Therapy Scale.  The first part of the class will describe the measures and the research supporting their use, and the second part will focus on how they might be adopted for clinical use.


After completing this course, participants will be able to:
  • Describe the recently developed SFPRG measures, including the research supporting them, applicability to clinical practice, and areas of caution in their use and interpretation.

Course Level:  Intermediate

CE Credits: 1 APA approved CE hour.

CE Details: If you would like CEU's you should indicate so during registration. COA's will be sent within 30 days of the class. You must arrive on time to the course and stay for the entirety of the program to receive CE credit. Email any questions regarding CE to our front office at cmt@sfprg.org

Meet our Instructors:

George Silberschatz

George Silberschatz, PhD is a past president of the International Society for Psychotherapy Research and is a Clinical Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at UCSF.  He is the president of the San Francisco Psychotherapy Research Group and is in private practice (PSY 5826) in San Francisco.

Jim McCollum

James McCollum, Ph.D. is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist (PSY29263) working in private practice in San Francisco where he sees adults, families, children, and adolescents.  He received his doctorate from the California School of Professional Psychology in San Francisco, CA.  He serves on the board of the San Francisco Psychotherapy Research Group and chairs the Education and Outreach Committee. 

Dr. McCollum has provided trainings to organizations and clinicians on psychotherapy process, outcomes, and effectiveness.  He is a researcher who has published and presented his work on psychometrics and psychotherapy research at international conferences.
